Help on how to use ADL box in latest released version (3.9.7)

ADL box has no user instructions.  I found a good description of what ADL is here:

but I found no clear way on how to use it with TerraCopy.  It would be great if I could store the MD5 in ADL and have a way to confirm that the stored MD5 still matches the file.
