Kindly add option for "old compact style" in latest 3.4 alpha version..I dont like the current interface. there are many users including me who want old style compact interface. kindly give option to install in old style compact interface.

Another vote for this. Newer versions use up way too much screen area. Not everyone has huge screens.

It is worse on "huge screens". It makes me feel that I wasted my money by buying a bigger monitor (in resolution) and see that I can really display less information than a decode ago with a smaller one.
