Make filename collision option persistent

I frequently have multiple files at different locations with the same name but different contents. When reoganizing files, it always asks what to do when a collision happens if I do not manually change the option (and defaults to skipping the file). I would like a means for the program to remember by preference (renaming target) instead of having to manually change this every time I use the program. After all, the 'Set as default' button makes it appear that the currently selected settings will be kept as the new defaults, but it apparently does not apply to all of the settings on the page.
