Keep folders synchronized

I have hard times trying to sync files with long pathnames onto my nas.
why not give teracopy the ablity to do this job.
I've tried FreeFolderSync today. This tool creates a logfile for each directory with it's assuming state of files. But i'm scared using it because I suspect that some changes are not recognized correctly. so but maybe it's a good approach.
Or is there a solution possible to get the changes from the filesystem and perform the action with TC?
