Where is the option to limit the transfer speed in Teracopy V 3.9.2  ?

After we implement multi-threading for the copy process, we will add this feature. It's essential, as our initial tests show that using two or more threads fully utilizes 100% of the bandwidth.

I also use SyncBack for scheduled copies, whereas Teracopy is more for adhoc copies because it hooks into the Windows Explorer Copy/Paste functionality.

I often copy extremely large files to / from a NAS and Windows Explorer tends to max out my network bandwidth which causes issues for me and for my wife's computer. So having Teracopy have a bandwidth limiter to allow me to use e.g. 75% of the bandwidth for copying would be great.

As would functionality to prioritise the network I/O in the Windows queue so that other network traffic can have priority (using QoS or similar) - though I fear that using the Windows SMB API may not allow this.

Update ,I found that :

Duplicati is free, has the needed option but not has many features like Teracopy.

Goodsync, has the needed feature and many other features but it has very bad annual subscription policy.

Gs Richcopy 360, has the needed features and many other features besides the one life time license which suites my needs.

Greate suggestions Sarah Watson🙂

Teracopy was created to speed up any transfer but the option "limit the transfer speed "is still not available in the Teracopy versions and I hope it will be with the coming updates.

A feature like that is available in some free/paid alternatives, for example, Duplicati, Goodsync, Gs Richcopy 360, Syncback..........etc

Thanks
