Timeout when copying to LTO tape

Anybody have timeout issues when copying to LTO tape?
I've started using Teracopy a few weeks ago for copying from our server to LTO-7 tapes. (I was using FreeFileSync but the latest Windows update caused issues.) I add a list of folders to fill a 6TB tape with video files (file sizes are up to 250GB). It rarely finishes without some files failing due to a timeout. The files are different each time. Sometimes it does them all. I'm guessing that the timeout is because it's copying to tape. Support has not responded to my ticket in over a week so far.

Try adjusting the timeout in TeraCopy. I did and haven't had any issues writing to LTO since.

C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\TeraCopy\Options.ini

Search for Timeout. Default is 60. Change it to 300.

Timeout=300

I can't read my reply. The color is the same as the background and I can't change it.....

I switched to FileCopy. It works great!!!. Also, I heard back from IBM. They are aware of the issue with their LTFS software with LTO-7 but are not going to do anything about it. (That's what they wrote!)

hello, i have the same problem - the timeout come sometimes at the beginning - maybe that the TLO have to search the right write position.

and sometimes the timeout pop up when i transfere large files (>200GB)

Yup. it seems if I'm copying off the tape and the folder I want is near the end of the tape, it will time out.
When writing, I noticed 4K files 240GB failed.
I opened a ticket about this on June 7, but have not heard back.
